USC's Largest 3D printing community

3D For Everyone

3D for Everyone (3D4E) is USC’s largest 3D printing community. We help beginners learn the fundamentals while giving experienced members the space and resources to continue exploring 3D printing, computer-aided design (CAD), and additive manufacturing.

Free membership • No application • No prior experience • No minimum time commitment • All majors welcome

01 / About us

3D printing should be for everyone.

3D for Everyone (3D4E) was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to 3D printing. Our members can learn printer operation, Computer Aided Design, and 3D modeling while receiving the support they need to turn their ideas into physical designs. Ultimately, we are here because we love 3D printing and want to share it with others!

02 / What we do

Events

Weekly workshops

Every week, on Wednesday, 7pm-8pm, 3D4E hosts workshops for members to learn practical skills in CAD, Addctive Manufacturing, 3D modeling, printer operation, slicing, and design for manufacturing.

Open to everyone. Attendance is not required for membership.

Semester-long Projects

Collaborate on semester-long projects that solve problems, explore new ideas, or serve the community. You can propose and/or join existing projects. We fund projects. We will guide you through your ideas and check in weekly if you need help.

The goal is to collaborate, experiment, and build something that interests you. Have Fun!

Annual showcase

Every April, we join with the chapters from other universities, including UCLA and Utah, to host a showcase of all the things club members have made. Get inspired and learn about other projects!

Visitors and friends are welcome—you do not need a finished project to attend.
